The Limes, is above all else, our residents home and we believe that they have a right to a say in its running and in resolving issues which may arise from time to time. It is our policy to hold residents’ meetings at regular intervals when all residents are invited to contribute and we welcome the involvement of family members. We firmly believe that it is only by listening to our residents that we will improve our service.
Our dining rooms are central to the running of our home and our experienced cooks provide a varied, well balanced range of ‘home’ cooking. Special diets can easily be accommodated and personal likes and dislikes are always respected. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is served in the lounges and light snacks are available on request.
Visiting pets are welcome at The Limes.
Laundry is ongoing throughout the day and evening to ensure that residents’ clothes are returned clean and ironed to their room.
Our residents benefit from a regular visiting hairdresser, additionally a visiting chiropodist and/or complementary therapist/beautician can be arranged. These services may incur an extra charge.
Furthermore our Care Staff offer relaxing hand massage, manicure and foot spa treatments in the privacy of the resident’s own rooms.
Visiting clergy from all faiths are welcomed. Residents are encouraged to maintain links with their faith community.
